Job Description
Position : Executive – presales
Location : Hyderabad
Area of Responsibility : Supporting sales teams for bidding the tenders / projects.
Domain: Process & Discrete Industry
No of Years of Exp: 2-8yrs
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics /Instrumentation.
Function Experience :
Providing Solutions in Process & Discrete manufacturing industrial applications involving PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI etc – Automation Systems for F&B/Pharma/Chemical/P-hem/Refinery /O&G/Cement/Steel/Automotive Industries
Job Responsibilities:
Manage tenders and RFQs received for Automation Systems like SCADA, PLC, DCS and Instrumentation.
Study and analyze RFQ requirements like Instructions to Bidders, Technical Specifications, P&IDs and preparing System Architectures, BOQs, Drawings
and Solution Presentations.
Preparing project cost schedule for materials, engineering and commissioning man-power and discussing with management for bid strategy and profit margins.
Laising points of ambiguity in tender/ RFQ documents, open points and getting them cleared by customer.
Attending site visits to get a better grasp of the customer's requirement.
Prepare comprehensive and compliant Technical and Commercial Bids/ Offers comprising of Control, Instrumentation, Electrical, VFD's
Consult with engineering teams and prepare preliminary project schedule and material delivery schedule.
Co-ordinate with finance department for arranging necessary financial documents like bid/ tender and advance bank guarantees.
Issuing RFQs to suppliers and negotiating with them for better pricing and product support.
Providing support to customers for any technical queries and price negotiations.
Complete hand-over of the project to projects team upon wining of the project.
Guiding and delegating responsibility to newer members of the team.
Maintaining database of received enquiries/ RFQs, submitted offers and presenting reports to Engineering Manger on team performance and forecasts
