Our client, a leading engineering, procurement, construction and installation ("EPCI") company focused on executing complex offshore oil and gas projects worldwide. They provide integrated EPCI services for upstream field developments, and deliver fixed and floating production facilities, pipelines and subsea systems from concept to commissioning. They have the following requirement for Chennai 1. Chief Engineer – Structural (Lead Engineer) Experience: – 12+ years of experience 2. Principal Structural Engineers Experience:– 8+ years of experience Qualification : B.E or B.S or B.Tech Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities: Offshore Structural Engineer Educational Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, Preferred M.E./M.Tech./ MS in structural/Ocean engineering/Offshore Structures Industrial Experience: Relevant experience after B. Tech (more than 75% in offshore structure) Capable to perform and supervise conceptual and FEED engineering of fixed offshore platforms including well, process and LQ. Capable to perform and supervise Jacket in-place, spectral fatigue, Seismic and pre-service analysis. Capable to check the deliverables (documents and drawings) and ensure its quality and adherence to Specifications and fabrication standards. Proficiency in SACS/MicroSAS/SEASAM Proficiency with Major offshore structural codes and standards like API, NORSOK and AISC Knowledge in various fabrication standards. Plan project structural execution including scope, deliverables, schedule and all manpower resources Lead the assigned engineers and drafting personnel to complete the scope as per planned schedule, within budget, in accordance with fabrication standards, to a high professional standard Ensure interfaces and deliverables are clearly identified. Co-ordinate material control requirements and maintains agreed material order release dates, ensures standards are followed. Monitor scope change. Raises change orders to the project. Interface with Client and other agencies on their review and approval. Prepare estimates for bid proposals, including technical query reviews, execution statements and manhour estimates. Identifies and provides training to staff in specific techniques and proprietary software. Optional: Experience in fixed platform reassessment and life extension using push – over analysis. Experience in FPSO topside structural design. Experience in Pile drivability using GRL – WEAP Experience in performing offshore hydrodynamic analysis such as Launch, Upending, Motion response and multi-body time domain analysis using OSCAR.
